About the exam:
GMAT (Graduate Management Admission Test) (NEW PATTERN -FOCUS EDITION- JANUARY 2024 onward) is a computer adaptive test set up by GMAC (Graduate Management Admission Council) that evaluates quantitative, verbal, critical thinking and writing skills of the students applying for MBA and other Masters programmes in finance and business administration in international B-schools. GMAT scores are valid for some top Indian B-schools also.
Duration of the test: 2 hours 15 minutes
GMAT has three sections:
- Quantitative Reasoning
- Duration: 45 minutes
- Questions: 21
- Scale: 60-90
- Verbal Reasoning
- Duration: 45 minutes
- Questions: 23
- Scale: 60-90
- Data Insights
- Duration: 45 minutes
- Questions: 20
- Scale: 60-90
GMAT is scored on a scale of 205-805, in ten point increment based on the scaled score of the data insights, verbal and quantitative sections.
